Four blank templates, ready to print. Each one has the fold lines, the cut line where there is one, and a faint page number in every panel so you know which panel is which and which way up it goes. Draw on them, paste on them, write on them, then photocopy and fold.
The classic one-sheet zine. One side of one sheet of paper, three folds and one cut. Print it in landscape at actual size.
The top row is upside down on purpose; the fold turns it over. Page 1, the cover, is the bottom right panel. How to fold it is on its own page.
Two sheets printed on both sides, in portrait. Each PDF has four pages in printing order, so print it double-sided, flipped on the long edge, and the two sheets come out ready to fold. The first page of each sheet says sheet 1 or sheet 2 in small type at the top.
Fold each sheet in half and in half again, slide the second inside the first, staple twice along the spine, and make one cut along the bottom to free the pages. If your printer only prints on one side, there is a way.
Print one, make your master copy on it, then photocopy the master as many times as you want zines. Each copy folds into one. A ten page print run is ten sheets of paper.
The page numbers print in a light gray so they sit under whatever you put on top. If you would rather they were not there, cover them.
